Overall Purpose of a Video

 

Nowadays, everyone is looking for his or her "go-to video guy/gal" that they can rely on, give them the project, be able to come up with something creative about it, to have it done within a week or two, and be able to have it ready for their new up and coming website that is to be released at a certain time given, etc.. Things like that are what matters to a business owner when seeking to start a new journey in their careers. 

 

Whether that be a 10 - 15-second video on a website, (with as much content as possible) to a 3 - 5-minute promotional short film on the website, that will often times give the viewers a bit more of an overall in-depth perspective about the business owner. As far as talking about their past, what inspired them, how they got started, where are they at now, what are they seeking to have accomplished, and about where they wish to see themselves at in the next 5-10 years or more, from now. 

 

NOTE: B-Roll is another important factor to have in your videos as well!

 

General Facts about a typical Video/Commercial

 

When you watch a video/commercial on TV or the internet, aka an "Ad" about a business/business owner or a company, what are they showcasing? about? what are they trying to get you to purchase? what is the message of their video? and overall, what is the goal of the video?

 

Answer: They are trying to get you to buy their product/services;

and once after you show interest, and after purchasing it,  you like it, 

and hopefully share it with your friends and family so that they can have your support, come back, buy more, then eventually, and hopefully, that customer can also turn into a potential client as well! But in the long run,

will appreciate your business, and on their way to having a successful business later on down the road. 

 

Also, if you want to have a GREAT looking video for your business, you've got to be able to have as much engaging content as possible! You don't want to put or have things in there that aren't pertaining to the video, or possibly something that will make the viewers lose interest, and not want to purchase your product. Trust me, you don't want that!

 

Rule of Thumb in Making a Great Video!

 

#1. If you want to have a successful business, make a video/commercial about it. 

 

#2.  Keep it as short as possible, have as much interesting content as possible, and to NEVER add things that aren't related to your video. Otherwise, again, you will LOSE YOUR AUDIENCE!

#3. Create either a Website of some sort or an Online based Presence, (#social media) be able to post things about it,

Content, Products, Updates, etc.. and to ALWAYS KEEP YOUR STATUS UP-TO-DATE!
